Hi guys!! I know it has been a while since I’ve posted and I’ve been a bit MIA. For those of you who follow me on instagram, you know that I’ve been in Florida with my girlfriends for a little getaway. It was so nice to take some time off and enjoy some much needed sunshine. It’s been raining on and off since I got back and it will be the same next week. So, I’m extra grateful that I was able to soak in some sun.
I did, however, get a little sunburnt. I’ll be doing a post about after-sun care later this week. I also have lots of exciting new posts coming out soon so keep checking in to see 🙂 As always, comment below or email me if you want to see a certain thing covered on the blog.
Today, I want to talk to you guys about the power of words. Tiny changes make big differences and the power of positive, reaffirming quotes really do help you grow and nourish into a better version of yourself. Vision Words was nice enough to send me three of their sticky notes with positive affirmations. I chose Fitness, Be Happy, and Gratitude.
I stuck them all around my room and it’s so nice to see them in mirrors, on my door, anywhere really. They remind me to enjoy life a little more and I love how they make me feel positive. I think in general, I am a pretty positive person but I do get into my moods where everyone annoys me. I think it’s especially easy to get annoyed at work. Either you’re trying to get something from someone or someones trying to get something from you and it can get overwhelming. The other day, I took my intern with my to grab lunch and just felt like I was venting the whole time. It’s nice to have bits of happiness and inspiration as reminders to stay positive. 🙂 If you feel the same way, be sure to check out Vision Words!
I love this idea! Just little reminders not to take life too seriously and enjoy the ride! xoxo
