Hello there! So, today, I am here to talk to you guys all about my latest obsession: Pure Barre. For those who are like, “What even are you talking about? What’s Pure Bare?” Don’t worry. I’ll explain. Pure Barre is a workout that targets women’s problem areas- hips, thighs, booty, abs, and arms. So…everywhere? Ok, good.
In class, we use a ballet bar, a small ball, weights, and a tube, which all help to add tiny bits of resistance throughout the workouts. Whether you’re squeezing the ball in between your thighs as you raise your legs or keeping your feet in place with a tube as you do sit ups to the bar, it is always a TOUGH workout. Every class is 55 minutes. You stretch in between but by the end, I’m always shaking / sweating. Still, it isn’t too challenging of a workout, I promise. I’ve never been in class thinking: I can’t do this. I have to stop.
I tried Pure Barre last week, went back a few days later, and then yesterday, I bought myself an unlimited monthly package. That’s how quickly I fell in love with it. It really is very fun and you always feel great afterwards. I am going to Florida in one month with my girlfriends. So, I want to see if a month of Pure Barre will really make a difference. (I can do an update in a month if you want!)
